The Dual Language Learner (DLL) Family Referral Specialist provides oversight and management of the collection of information on child care programs to offer child care referrals and resources to dual language families contacting SC Child Care Resource & Referral (SC CCR&R) via the website or phone. The DLL Family Referral Specialist will focus on increasing access to high-quality child care opportunities and financial assistance for children and families whose first language is not English.
This position will serve as part of the team of specialists that work with parents, families, and the community through consultations, email correspondence, trainings, conferences, community events, etc. to provide information on SC CCR&R services, child care options, indicators of quality, and related resources.
For this position, the applicant must be fluent in Spanish and English and be able to communicate effectively in both languages verbally and in written form.
